Upcycling, Re-Weaving
Used fabrics and discarded garments are given a second life through the art of weaving. Each piece tells a unique story.
The technique is based on the craft of SAKIORI, a traditional Japanese weaving technique that uses old textiles and garments to weave new textiles. The word Sakiori is derived from "saki" meaning "to tear" or "to rip open" and "ori" meaning "to weave".
The threads of the past are woven into a vibrant new piece of the present.
